Yes? Then why not put pen to paper, or fingers to buttons, and go into the Info2Travel free travel writing competition. The best article, chosen by our team of flambores, wins the $100 US. The competition is drawn quarterly with winners notified via email and payment made direct via paypal.

The guide should be at least 400 words and should contain these five sections:

For someone that has not been to the destination try to paint a picture of it. How many people live there, history that has defined the area, the culture of the area and what may make it unique and interesting.

tell the new visitor about the attractions and sights that should not be missed.

Transport
Where is the airport and how do you get from there to the city? Whats the airport like big, modern, old, busy? What are the different ways to get around i.e. taxis, buses, limos, rentals etc., and are there things to watch out for?

Food
What is the food culture in your city, is steak and chips the go or is there a wild array of mediterranean cuisine?

Weather
What are the seasons like and in which months do they come, after all we don't want our travellers packing t-shirts when they need jackets!
